Changbai Mountain cypress is abundant in northeast China, straddling the eastern part of the three provinces of Jilin, Liaoning and Heilongjiang and the border of the two rivers of North Korea, at an altitude of 2500 meters. Located between Northeast China and the Korean Peninsula, Changbai Mountain is called “sacred mountain” in northern Chinese folk mythology, and the Korean people also call it an auspicious place for the nation.
